Help with overwhelm

Overwhelm can feel like being stuck, panic, irritability, emptiness, or constant exhaustion.

Stabilize first, then sort

When everything comes at once, a very small step often helps: drink water, sit down, breathe, turn on a light, tell one person, or write one sentence.

Help can be practical

At first it may be about sick leave, counseling, relief in daily life, debt or social counseling, a doctor contact, or a crisis conversation.

Acute danger is different

If you or others are not safe, immediate help matters. 112 is for acute danger in Germany.

  2. Sort with the help compass.
  3. Use a help sentence if needed.
